Not sure if this was one of the years i were there. But the energy at the stone circle was literally charged! Wasn't even on anything for once - just a great all nighter.

I was there. I was 18, stood on the step of the floor so just above the madness of that front crowd looking down. I’ve never seen anything so beautiful or brutal. Before or since. Perry had just shaved his head that day and he was liked a sexy pit-bull. Everyone of us, boy, girl, man, woman or whatever, was grabbing at him (as those people he gave the mic to shouted lol). At the end I had my hands up in the air smiling and goofing like an idiot, and Perry smiled at me.

Ive seen them 3 times, but never in their prime. Its one of bands I'd go back in time to see in their prime. The others being Van Halen with DLR in 1980, Hendrix in 1967, Patti Smith in 1978, Bauhaus in 1982, Bikini Kill in 1993, Nirvana in 1991, Skinny Puppy in 1990 and Jane's in 1987. I was born in 1982, but the stuff i grew up on was that. I got stuck with Korn, Limp Bizkit and Slipknot. Youngsters tell me thats cool, but id trade every show between 97 and 2010 for just one hour of any of those legends. My generation did have Radiohead, so thats cool
